Khabarovsk

in Russia

Khabarovsk is wonderfully green and blue: both parks and leafy boulevards along with fountains and other water features are all over the city, which itself lies on a bank of the Amur river. I found it an easily likable city, especially when the sun was out. The military museum was one of the best I have seen in Russia, and the proximity to Asia meant some good Asian cuisine too.
