A country of close islands linked by bridges, one of the islands being attached to the north of Germany, Denmark sits at the south west of Scandinavia. I've only visited Copenhagen so far, an very likable city with a bustling center but plenty of spacious, green parks to get away from it all. Cost wise, at least if the capitals are anything to judge by, Denmark feels cheaper than Norway but more expensive than Sweden. Wages here are also high, however. The people, like their capital city, are also beautiful.
Certainly in the capital - but I get the impression across the country as a whole - English is spoken very well indeed.
